Worst Trip Moment:
- After doing a number of shots of Jamieson spurring an Irish comeback against Winthrop, I refused to do one more shot with the Irish down 3, thus resulting in the 11 seed Eagles victory. As punishment for my sin I aptly passed out underneath a tree in the middle of UK’s campus missing out on a great meal at Sonic.

Best Trip Moment:
- Without question it was in Indianapolis getting to meet Dr. Naismith’s grandson and him showing us the original handwritten rules of the game of basketball. Then he invited us to the NCAA Hall of Champions to meet up with him the next day. Great man, amazing trip moment!!

Worst Trip Basketball Moment:
- In 2002 having to sit through the worst basketball game I have ever seen played. Western Kentucky and Stanford played the most brutal game of basketball ever, there was no flow and no emotion. Maybe it was just a letdown from the Holy Cross / Kansas game, nonetheless, I would have rather watched my JV girls’ team scrimmage the freshman team. At least when I yell at them they listen. Casey Jacobson and the Cardinals were big pansies in their victory.

Best Trip Basketball Moment:
- This is two fold for me because I got the pleasure of watching Davidson practice at the high school at which I coach before their game against Wisconsin. Meeting Stephon Curry was an honor and watching an entire dome in Detroit filled with people hanging on every one of his shots was epic. He put on the performance of a lifetime and anytime Wisconsin loses is a plus in my book.

Trip Philosophy:
- This might sound played out or corny, but the trip to me is about “the love of the game”. It’s about a group of friends that come together every year to celebrate their passion for this great game. It’s a great chance to get out and see various cities in the country and enjoy some ball along the way. Sam put it perfectly… you need to “live the tournament!”… See the sights, meet new people, create new memories and mainly for anyone looking to try something like this remember that it all boils down to friendship and basketball. It’s pure, real, and never ending… good talk!!! Tough Shed.. Dynasty!!
V is for Victory!!!!
