• Drinking too much cold medicine while under the influence in Minneapolis and having to wander back to the hotel in a daze, hoping my heart didn’t explode.

• Having the privilege of observing the originally written rules of basketball by Dr. Nasmith’s grandson in a hotel lobby in Indianapolis, IN.

Worst Trip Basketball Moment:

• Greg Oden gets away with a flagrant foul and Ohio State comes back to beat Xavier, robbing us of witnessing a classic upset.

Best Trip Basketball Moment:

• Stephon Curry of Davidson goes bonkers and stops Bucky Ryan from advancing beyond the sweet sixteen.

Trip Philosophy:

• Wake up early and experience the city. Live the tournament by talking to the fans, going to the team hotels to see who you can spot, and watching the off day games with locals in a classic pub. Be ready to put in a full day on game day and watch every second you can because it only comes once a year.
